8 Week Summer Internship Experience
When you say “yes” as a Summer Intern at RDSN in Tijuana, Mexico you may play an important role in a summer children’s program impacting up to 250 kids on a daily basis. You will also have the opportunity to reach out to many of the communities that these kids come from through Evangelism Trailer, Garbage Ministry, Connection Groups and Sunday Services.
If that's not enough, you’ll have a run on our high ropes challenge course, experience Rosarito Beach or the local water park and enjoy some carne asada tacos on a fairly regular basis. Finally, all but one of our internship tracks (4, 6, or 8 week) includes a pass to the Jesus Culture Missions Experience (JCME) 2017 hosted on our campus
8 Week Summer Internship
Dates: June 19th-August 14th
Coming to Rancho to intern this summer has been life changing. As a first year Bethel student it has given me the chance to put into practice all that I have learned at school. When I arrived I was immediately overwhelmed by such a strong spirit of adoption and an open heaven. This place is where miracles happen daily, the hungry are fed and God uses family to heal you. I came to watch this process but God pushed me right in. Starting with ropes course and running after fear. One of the first things I was asked to do was clean one of the dorms. As I was cleaning a girl appeared in the doorway and asked, "are you doing this by yourself?" I replied, "yes". She said, "I will go and get someone to help you so you are not alone". She could not have known the weight of her words. I am an only child and being alone and doing things alone has been a big part of my life. But this has been different. Learning that I am not alone and being told how much I am loved on a daily basis here has done something to me. I started to notice that I no longer felt empty but instead I felt full of love and realise that I am lovable and able to start learning how to give that away to others. Thank you Jesus for changing my life at Rancho.
