FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS

our Mexico base has been growing and helping people in need. Although the goal remains the same, our vision to get there has expanded; we are continuing our fight for an orphan-less world through orphan-care as well as many other outreach and education programs. This past summer, we were blessed by summer interns and groups that joined us from all over the world. Including South Africa and the Caribbean! It was an honor to have them serve with us. It is through the people who choose to join us, for a week or a summer, that we are able to physically grow this ministry. Every building, sidewalk and playground has been built through the help of people just like them! This summer we were reminded of that and filled with gratitude.

Currently, our Mexico campus is full of fresh life! The elementary, jr high, high school and School of Missions classes have all started back up after being on break. Throughout all of our programs, we have over 450 students on our Tijuana, Mexico campus. We are only a few weeks into the school year but we can already tell that they are more hungry for God than ever before.

As we continue to grow, we are always in need of help along the way. Whether you join us for an internship, missions trip, sponsor a child or cover our team in prayer, we are incredibly grateful. Thank you for your continued support!

TESTIMONY

Emi is a School of Missions graduate. During this past school year, each week, she helped host one of our churches small groups. There was one family in particular that stood out to her. Whenever Emi spoke with the mom, she seemed hesitant and hadn’t yet attended the group, however she did let her kids attend. One day, her daughter came to ask Emi and a few others to go pray for her brother who had injured his neck.

Once at the house, their mom was overwhelmed with joy as she saw Jesus heal her son’s neck! He was completely pain free and she was hungry for more of what she had just witnessed. The mom invited Emi to host the group in her home the following week and during that time, she received Jesus as her Savior! When Emi shared this testimony at our local church campus in Mexico, over ten people were completely healed of neck, wrist and nervous system injuries during the service. If you need healing in your body, our team is believing for a miracle with you!

Experience 4-5.jpg

God is moving in Romania and we are honored to be part of what He is doing. In April 2017, through a series of divine appointments, we found ourselves signing a purchase agreement for our 80,000 square foot facility in Sighişoara, Romania. Since then God has been faithful to meet us as we stepped out in faith!

In a country of just over 19 million people, there are more than 60,000 orphans and many more children who are living at risk. It has been an absolute privilege to show some of these children the love of God through meeting some of their most basic needs. So far, most of the first floor of the building has been remodeled and houses our local church campus, kindergarten class, after school program and temporary kitchen. Each day, over 50 children attend our programs. Most of them are from the Gypsy (Roma) villages that are on the outskirts of town. Although historically, there has been division between Romanian nationals and the Gypsy people, we have seen breakthrough in restoration as children from the villages and city center attend the programs together.

Thanks to visiting groups this Spring, the remodeling of the second and third floors has begun and will eventually house our commercial kitchen and elementary school classrooms. Our team is currently serving 65 meals a day, out of a much smaller kitchen and they are looking forward to the day when that project is complete!

In March of this year, we opened our local church campus and have been overwhelmed by the response within the community. We have seen such a strong hunger and desire for His presence and true family. We are so thankful to everyone that has partnered with us throughout this journey! To continue partnering with us, you can sponsor a child from Romania, attend a missions trip or give financially at themissioninc.org/romania. Thank you!

JEAN.jpg

This April, Jean came to our Romania campus with her church, from San Diego, for a week-long missions trip. Right before going to Romania, Jean received a call from her doctor saying that her biopsy results were in; she had breast cancer.

Upon hearing this news, Jean was filled with fear because she had lost three family members to cancer. However, her emotions shifted from fear to expectation as she remembered the people she had prayed for with cancer and seen them healed; she believed that God would do it again.

When Jean arrived to Romania, two members of her team stood in agreement for her healing with her during worship and she began to feel tingling in her left breast. Jean says, that after this experience she was filled with hope that when she went home the cancer would not be found.

Once Jean returned to the U.S. she underwent more testing; Jean was cancer free!

JESUS CULTURE MISSIONS EXPERIENCE

This June, over 300 people joined us from all over the world, at our Mexico base, to pursue the presence of God together and see heaven come to earth. This was our sixth year partnering with Jesus Culture for the annual JCME trip and it really is one of our favorite times of the year!

Our hearts were so moved as we saw people hungry and ready to see God move not only in their own lives, but also in the lives of those they served. We saw God restore health, mend broken hearts and pour out His love on His people. We are overwhelmed by the goodness and the kindness of God over these last three days and are so excited to see how cities and nations will be changed because of the encounters that were had here.

During the trip, there were times of worship and teaching with the Jesus Culture team, community outreach, VBS, work project and some fun was had on our high ropes course. Thank you to all who joined us as we poured into the beautiful nation of Mexico!

On the last night of JCME, we take the time to hear testimonies of what God has done. One of our favorite testimonies this year was from Cliff, a JCME participant from Sacramento. Before community outreach, teams were asked to participate in a treasure hunt, which is asking God for clues to look for while out in the community. He received a picture of the number 12 and a person that had something wrong with their eye. While out in the community, he came across a house with the number 12 on it and decided that this was his clue!

He went to the house and met a woman who had a bandage under her eye and discovered that she had cancer that was affecting her face. Because of that she hadn’t been able to cry for 5 years. So Cliff prayed for her and as he prayed she began to cry! He also received the name Josue, which was the name of the woman’s late husband. He prayed over her again and the joy and peace of God filled her.

The amazing part of this testimony is that Cliff was healed of cancer years earlier and was able to freely give what he had been given!

Join us next year for JCME in Romania! April 2-5, 2020, save the date!
